-
The Fort Golf Course
This Golf Course is a very beautiful piece of property that is just within 15 minutes drive from downtown Indianapolis. In 1996, this army base was completely closed and then turned into an 18-hole golf course.
It is in this city where after retirement from the army, Dye moved in here and converted the former army base into a golf course, and hence the synergy was perfect over here.
-
Cambridge Golf Course
In the Cambridge Golf Course outside Evansville, you will find no trees here, hence it is true links golf. You may watch out for your pot bunkers, too. You will hit what you may think will be a perfect drive to watch it rolling into one of the tiny bunkers that are dotting on the sides of the fairway.
-
Chariot Run Golf Club
This golf course has been designed in the style of American links. Very few trees are present, which is much similar to typical link design, but its fairways are more receptive. You will not find as many hidden bunkers that you can find in any typical Scottish links design.
-
Michigan City Municipal Golf Course
If you are unaware of the term “executive course,” then it refers to a certain shorter golf course having more par-3s than any typical golf course. Any 18 holes for any typical course will be the same as 70-72, whereas any 18 holes for a par-3 course may be as par 48. All such courses are referred to as “executive” courses like Michigan City North Course.
-
Bear Slide Golf Club
Most of the golf courses may cost you $120+ whereas this golf course will not be charging a too crazy price and also offer a great combination. This course has been consistently listed among the list of the best golf courses in Indiana.
-
Zollner Golf Course
The Zollner Golf Course is one of the most challenging courses available in solid condition at a very affordable price. This golf course has been named after Fred Zollner, who was the most famous industrialist of Indiana. Zollner is a very well-known name and is called the NBA’s father.
-
Kampen Course
There are 2 courses here, which are also part of this Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex where there are:
- Ackerman-Allen Course
- Kampen Course
Both are nice, however, the Kampen Course has got the ability to play any championship Pete Dye course at a very low cost than you might expect.
