Scrabo Golf Club
Founded in 1907 Scrabo has its own unique personality and is a favourite amongst Northern Ireland golfers. The course is set in the shadow of the famous Scrabo Tower built as a memorial to the 3rd Marquis of Londonderry and commands impressive views over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains.
On a clear day one can see the coast of Southern Scotland, Northern England and the Isle of Man and if you look North one can see the City of Belfast and the world famous cranes at Harland & Wolff shipyard. Scrabo offers truly stunning views.
The course itself is unique in layout and is renowned for its narrow, gorse-bordered fairways making accurate driving essential.
